Meet Our Worship Leader

Ryan Noss is a native to the Central Pennsylvania area. He made a decision to be a follower of Jesus at the age of 7 and has been continuing to grow in his faith ever since. At an early age, he was an active member of his home church in Camp Hill and grew in that body of Christ. Ryan believes that being a Christian is not a religion but a lifestyle and a rewarding full time experience.

Ryan has always loved music and started playing guitar at a young age. From the age of 14 he has worked and participated with many different bands and music groups. After finishing school, he went into a year of mission's work with a mission organization called, "Youth Encounter."

Youth Encounter is a Traveling volunteer music ministry band for youth and adults. Ryan traveled, stayed in the homes of generous and hospitable Christians, and worshipped God full-time with a group of 4 other college-age adults. He toured 14 states at a rate of 5-7 cities a week, playing worship-events in churches, detention centers, nursing homes, schools, and preschools. This time has encouraged and led him to the point of wanting to use his gifts and talents to help others worship Jesus Christ. This faith deepening experience coupled with hours and hours of worship band experience have all contributed to who Ryan is today.

Looking ahead, Ryan sees God moving him to pursue an education in Youth Ministry, as well as continuing where God may be leading him with his love of music. He hopes that one day God might give him the opportunity to be in professional Christian rock music. His faith in God’s purpose for his life is based on his ‘life verse’ Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Ryan has been the worship leader for Compass Point Church since January 2012. In that position, he has the honor and privilege of working with some very talented people who are just as passionate about worshiping and serving God as he is. He personally invites you to come and celebrate the love of Christ in worship with all of us every Sunday morning.
